Elementals?

At what level are mages able to summon elementals? It won't come up in any searches for me. I know hunters get pets at 10, rogues get poisons at 20, warlocks can get minions as early as lvl 6 (race depending) but I can't find when I can summon elementals. :( I'm level 24 and have yet to have any quests become available at trainers to try and get this.Mages do not summon elementals, you are thinking of shamns, who summon earth and fire elementals... well, if you are frost specced, when you go 40 points in, you get water elemental. However, that is the only elemental we summon.Emick, you couldnt be more wrong, sorry to sound like that, but mages get to summon an elemental at level 40, earliest, if you spend all your points right...

I'm a fire mage and i jus hit 70 and i've gt my flying mount. trouble is now i have no idea what i shud be doing. I've tried doing pvp but i suk cause i don't have the gear.WTF shud i be doing?? Also could some1 tell me whats da the best mage tier?tier 6(+maybe some pieces from SWP) Wel, you can either go PvP, this means that you can AFK a bit in AV getting some merci/vindicator and trinket for PvP and do arena. Or you can start raiding and then its a matter of maxing out tailoring and do some heroics, get some badges and start Karazhan and work you way up.Are fire mages really built 4 pvp???? also what spec o tailorin should i get cause i still ain't done tht ******noobishness*****I agree with Londron. As for tailoring, I would go with spellcloth items for Fire (Mooncloth is for healers, Shadowcloth is for Frost/Shadow Mages)It could be that i am just a noob (lvl 31 mage) but can a mage really heal?
