As it stands, right now ... armoursmith is better. There are a very few spialisation items, and nothing for the "sub-spialisations", sh as axeswordme. These are only level 78 blues, and only require weaponsmithing. There are 3 armoursmithing level 78 items though, and in my opinion, they are a mh better benefit for any dps plate wearer. All that being said ..There's absolutely nothing in the BS spialisations whh will give you anything better than what you'll pk up in heros tbh, so it really makes absolutely no differee. So, unlikelass WoW, where youould spialise inreating weapons that no other BSould make, or like , where youould make weapons for yourself that nobody elseould even use, let alone make ... in Wrath, the only benefit to being a BS is the skets youan add to your brers. All the worthwhile stuff (like the 2H ep me) are BoE, andan be made by anyone for anyone, regardless of whether or not the finalustomer is a BS, spialist or neither. In short ... weapon spialisation gives you nothing, armorsmith gives you something very little, and only at level 78. Edit - sorry, I lied, there's a 2 handed me for level 78 as well - still only requires weaponsmith, not even hammersmith. So there's a me and 2 1 handed swords if you're weaponsmith, and ahestpie and legs if you're armoursmith. All level 78 blues, all very mh below par for level 80 stuff.hk them all out Here
So in otherwords most people wouldn't waste time and gold by leveling blksmithing in aertain spialization sie it's really not worth it, plus some of the mats are a pain to try and farm.
